Free Eye Treatment Camp

Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri, in association with Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center, Chennai, and the Vellore District Sight Loss Prevention Association, jointly organized a free eye treatment camp at Asanampattu Primary School, Vellore District, on Saturday, 31.01.2026. More than 100 visually impaired people participated in the camp, underwent comprehensive eye examinations, and were provided with free medicines and medical advice as part of the initiative. The camp aimed to support early detection and treatment of eye-related issues and promote better eye health among the local community.

Free Eye Treatment Camp

Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri, in association with Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center, Chennai, and the Tiruvannamalai District Sight Loss Prevention Association, jointly organized a free eye treatment camp on Sunday, 01.02.2026, at Saveur Higher Secondary School, Arani Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. More than 100 visually impaired people participated in the camp, underwent detailed eye examinations, and were provided with free medicines and medical guidance as part of the initiative. The camp aimed to promote awareness and provide early diagnosis and treatment for eye-related problems in the community.

Free Eye Treatment Camp

A free eye treatment camp was jointly organized on Sunday, 08.02.2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM by the Hosur Grand Rotary Association, Krishnagiri District Social Welfare and Women's Rights Department, Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center Foundation, Chennai, and Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri. More than 150 members of the general public participated in the camp, underwent eye examinations, and benefited from the services provided. The camp was inaugurated under the leadership of Hosur Grand Rotary Association President Mr. Raju, with Secretary Mr. Hari and other administrators also present. During the camp, 25 individuals were identified for advanced treatment and were taken to Chennai for further medical care.

Free Eye Treatment Camp

A free eye treatment camp and free bone marrow check-up camp was jointly organized on 15.02.2026 at Sri Bharathi Nursery and Primary School, Rayakottai, by Hosur Main Arima Sangam, the Social Welfare and Women's Rights Department of Krishnagiri District, Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center Foundation, Chennai, Salem Pritam Hospital, and Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri. More than 200 members of the general public participated in the camp, underwent medical examinations, and received free medicines and tablets. Among the participants, over 30 people were identified for advanced eye treatment and were referred to Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center, Chennai, while 5 people were selected for further general medical treatment and referred to Salem Pritam Hospital. The camp was successfully coordinated by Eye Camp Chairman Arima M. Sureshkumar, Arima N. Venugopal Reddy, Arima S. Sasikumar, and School In-charge Mr. Sabari.

A free eye treatment camp and free bone and heart check-up camp was jointly organized on 22.02.2026 at the Raj Priya Children's Hospital premises, Krishnagiri, by Hosur Main Arima Sangam, the Social Welfare and Women's Rights Department of Krishnagiri District, Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center Foundation, Chennai, Salem Pritham Hospital, and Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri. More than 150 members of the general public participated in the camp, underwent medical examinations, and received free medicines and tablets. Among them, over 15 people were identified for advanced eye treatment and were referred to Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center, Chennai, while 5 people were selected for further general medical treatment and referred to Salem Pritham Hospital. The camp was organized by Arima Dr. Arunasadesan, with coordination by Arima N. Venugopal Reddy and Arima S. Sasikumar.

A free eye treatment camp and health check-up camp was jointly organized on 01.03.2026 at the Mathur Primary School premises in Krishnagiri District by Hosur Main Arima Sangam, Chamalpatti Reeds Charitable Organization, the Social Welfare and Women's Rights Department of Krishnagiri District, Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center Foundation, Chennai, Salem Pritham Hospital, and Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri. More than 200 members of the general public participated in the camp, underwent medical examinations, and received free medicines and tablets. Among them, over 25 people were identified for advanced eye treatment and were referred to Dr. Agarwal's Eye Research Center, Chennai, while 5 people were selected for further general medical treatment and referred to Salem Pritham Hospital. Krishnagiri District Education Officer Mr. S. Soundararajan attended the camp as the special guest. The eye camp was organized by Arima Dr. Arunasadesan on behalf of Hosur Main Arima Sangam, while Arima N. Venugopal Reddy, Arima S. Sasikumar, and Director M. Thomas coordinated the event on behalf of the Reeds Charitable Organization.

International Women’s Day Free Eye Care and Medical Camp

In observance of International Women’s Day, a free eye care camp and free medical camp—covering orthopedic, joint, and cardiac health screenings—was jointly organized on March 8, 2026, at the Uthangarai Primary School premises in Krishnagiri District. The initiative was a collaborative effort involving the Uthangarai Lions Club, Uthangarai Athiyaman Educational Institution, Uthangarai GREAT Charitable Trust, Krishnagiri District Society for the Prevention of Blindness, Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Research Centre Foundation (Chennai), Preetham Hospital (Salem), and Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri. More than 200 members of the public participated in the camp, underwent medical examinations, and received necessary medicines. Among them, over 25 individuals requiring advanced eye treatment were referred to Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Research Centre, Chennai, while five individuals needing specialized medical treatment were referred to Preetham Hospital, Salem. Former District Governor Lion N. P. Senthilkumar attended the event as the special guest. The camp was successfully coordinated by the office bearers of the Uthangarai Lions Club, including its President, along with Director S. Uma Maheswari representing the GREAT Charitable Trust.

A free eye treatment camp, jointly organized by the Hosur Main Lions Club, Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Research Centre Foundation (Chennai), Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri, and the Tirupattur District Society for the Prevention of Blindness, was held on March 11, 2026, at the Visamangalam Panchayat Office in Kandili Union, Tirupattur District. More than 150 members of the public participated in the camp, underwent eye examinations, and received prescribed medicines. Among them, over 25 individuals were identified for advanced treatment and were referred to Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Research Centre in Chennai. The camp was presided over by Panchayat President Mr. Alagiri and coordinated by Lion Ln. R. Vivekananda (Past President, representing the Hosur Main Lions Club), Camp Chairman Lion N. Venugopal Reddy, and Lion S. Sasikumar.

Among them, over 10 individuals were identified for advanced treatment and were referred to Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Research Centre in Chennai for further care.

More than 150 members of the public participated in the camp, underwent eye examinations, and received necessary medicines. Among them, over 25 individuals were identified for advanced treatment and were referred to Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Research Centre in Chennai for further care. The event was coordinated by Lion Ln. Dr. Ponraj (Former President) and Lion N. Venugopal Reddy (Camp Chairman), with arrangements made on behalf of the Hosur Main Lions Club, under the leadership of Panchayat President Mr. Alagiri and with the support of Lion S. Sasikumar.

World Optometry Day Celebration

World Optometry Day was celebrated on March 23, 2026, by Kurinji International Trust, Krishnagiri. On this occasion, Optometrists S. Sasikumar, C. David, and Mr. Aravind—who provided outstanding support in conducting eye examinations—were honored for their dedicated service. The awards were presented by Mr. Panneerselvam, Member of the Child Protection Committee. The event was attended by special guests including Mr. Panneerselvam (Member, Child Protection Committee), Mr. Ilanthiraiyan (Coordinator, Government Insurance Scheme), and Mr. K. Krishnan (Administrator, Gypsy Hostel).
